A Message That Comes From Lived Experience
Together It’s Possible was founded by Michael A. DiVicino, who, after nearly three decades of incarceration and personal transformation, dedicated his life to helping youth and others avoid similar mistakes and while realizing their full potential.
Today, Together It’s Possible works with schools, juvenile programs and community organizations across Nevada and beyond.

Meet Our Founder
And on August 4, 2019, after nearly 30 years; Mike was released from prison
Michael A. DiVicino
At the age of 12, Mike saw the inside of his first lock-up facility. Regrettably, that experience did not deter him from continuing his increasingly aberrant behavior, and he continued to cycle in and out of various state and federal penal institutions throughout his formative years.
Mike was arrested for the last time while still just in his 20s, and was eventually sentenced to spend the remainder of his natural life in a prison cell. However, once inside of maximum security, his first and only son Joey was born, and he began to turn his life around.
Mike not only began to educate himself but also he couldn’t help notice the ever-increasing number of young males flooding into the system. Not wanting to see all these young men throw away the best years of their lives as he had, he began to write prison programs, and he also began to structure prison programs
As the years passed by, prison staff and parole board members took notice not only of his own personal growth but also of his dedication to helping others. And on August 4, 2019, after nearly 30 years; Mike was released from prison
Since that time, Mike has published his “Letters From Prison” book series, and he has also founded a local nonprofit “Together It’s Possible”. Each of which are being dedicated. Both endeavors are dedicated to helping today’s youth become more esteemed, positive, and productive members of society.
In the community, Mike speaks to parents, school teachers, law enforcement officials, and other organizations in order to detail his experiences and bring about unity and much-needed change.
